To respond appropriately to the demand for oenogastronomic tourism beginning with an evaluation of the many products of the Agricultural Business and wanting to go in search of other typical regional products, we recently opened the Osteria delle Sabbie 1731. Rediscovering the importance and the historical role of ‘Osterie’ we would like to offer a place to meet and spend time together while discovering the scents and flavours of our land, through the simplicity of typical cooking. The Osteria delle Sabbie 1731, is always full of tourists during the weekends, attracted by our Ferrara specialities and by the elegant, spacious, cosy and welcoming restaurant. They are also drawn by the raised indoor balcony reserved for small groups with its old tables (carved on the Estate by the cropsharers to remind them of festive evenings) and its simple decoration in perfect keeping with the oenogastronomic offerings. All of this creates a serene and convivial atmosphere.
After lunch its lovely to walk through the Natural Oasis of Le Pradine, which is full of life.
The richness of the environment is borne out by the presence of many varieties of native plants, and the undisputed stars of our wildlife are the pheasant and the numerous hares which hide in their hundreds in the alfalfa fields, along the rows of vines and between the thick tufts of grass in the shade of the cypress poplars.
More than two and a half hectares of the Estate are covered by watery mirrors. These are old retting pits that were transformed into lakes and wetland areas which are now home to a rich variety of plant and animal species.
A visit means full immersion in nature: made up of sounds, scents, tastes and colours. Discover the happiness of being together in close contact with simple and real things.
